• . A GUN FATALITY. .. MAORI BOY'S DEATH. By Telegraph Special Correspondent. Felldlng, May 8. Information has been received that i Maori boy named George Rangi, aged six or seven, whose parents reside at Awaturi, near Foilding, accidentally shot himself at Corbett Road, New Plymouth. It appears ihat the Maoris in the locality were attending to their usual farm work when they heard a loud report, and on running hack to the house found that the boy iiad shot himself with a double-barrei-led' gun, with which he had evidently teen playing. He died soon afterwards. ~ ..-'■.' FATAC TERMINATION TO A MOTOR ACCIDENT. •_■/•■ ' • Christchureh, May 8. The young man, Lester Ware, who was injured in a motor-car accident on Lincoln Road recently, died in the hospital this morning.
