'• • The O'Connor Don, who succeeded his father in 1906, was - a descendant of the ancient Irish Kings 'of Connaught, and could trace his lineage back to Turlough Mor O'Conor, King of Connaught, and afterwards monarch of Ireland, who died in 1156.
