RAILWAY RESTRICTIONS
GOODS TRAFFIC RESUMED. ' Tho Railway Department yesterday 'took oft all the restrictions imposed ■on goods traffic as part of tho scheme for tho economising of coal at the time of tho coal strikc._ The reduced passenger services still remain as they were when scheduled. The next change to be made by the Department will not be to return to the ordinary services which wore-in existence •before the shortage of coal was threatened, but ,to adopt the staff-saving time-table announced some timo ago. This will ■probably be done on Monday noxt, and tho effect of the change will be to increase the. passenger services a little. It is not; intended to take the dining-cars off the express trains at once, because tho necessary additions io the refreshment rooms have not yet been made.
