"FAIR TO CLOUDY"
Yesterday in Wellington the weather was somewhat milder than it was the' previous day. Threatening clouds mustered, hut no rain fell, beyond a few faint drops lato in'the 'afternoon.' Present indications, according to the official forecast, are for increasing easterly winds in the north, and variable breezes,.with moderate to strong southerlies prevailing elsewhere. Fair to cloudy conditions are probable, but a storm aroa is hovering about, and heavy rain 'is likoly in tho northern districts shortly, with unsettled weather following generally.
