MIRAMAR AFFAIRS

BOROUGH COUNCIL MEETING. A meeting of the Miramar Borough Council was held lust evoning. There were present:—Tho Mayor, Mr. F. Townsend, and Councillors, M. Tracey, H. Hawthorn, S. H. Underwood, W. H. Green, J. Pollock, and 11. K. Robertsliaw. The first business was tho formal installation of the Mayor, who was congratulated by tho councillors upon his re-election to office. Mr. Townsend welcomed Mr. Robertshaw as a new member to the council table. A complaint from Mr. G. Osborn regarding . the restricted tram servico to Seatoun was "received." Accounts amounting to .£3lO , were passed for payment.
