PRIVY COUNCIL MOTION DISMISSED. i Tlio appeal caso of J. B. MacEwan and Co., Ltd., v. Charles Avery Ashwin, in which judgment was givon last year for tlio appellant, was niontioned in the Court of Appeal yesterday. A motion for leave to appeal to tho Privy Council was to havo been moved by Mr. T. Neavo, on behalf of Ashwin, but counsel found tliat ho could not support tho application, as it had been lodged too late. Tho Court' accordingly dismissed the motion, and allowed costs £5 55., against the applicant.
