A.P.U. CONFERENCE
Yesterday's proceedings at the-con-ference of the Agricultural and Pastoral Workers' Union consisted largely of routiuo business. Air. A. J. K.ing was in the chair. The following resolution was carried: "That no restriction bo placed on shearers using the broad comb, provided tho employer makes provision for machines to drive it, tha employer to find the band-piece and fork, and that a. man may use a blade, 'jo member on any consideration- to nee his own band-piece, under a penalty ois £10 fine." Tho conference will be umtimied today.
