' In the recent Parliamentary. Tour of the Northern Districts, Hupmobiles distinguished themselves for reliability and comfort. Tliey took every obstacle, arid on the whole tour not one stoppage was recorded through Hupp failure. Between Herekimo and Broadwood WBS a very bad piece of road, and here a Hupp was the only one of the 23, cars to get through the mud .on its own power. • All the other makes had to be assisted by twenty to thirty members of the party with' the aid of ropes. - ■ :This is further proof 'of the superiority of the Hupp engine--known as- the ''lugging type.' As a Hupp./ Handbook says, it. is 'designed; for hard andheavy road work—mud and sand pulling. Built for touring use. See a Hupmobile, .£430, complete, at main ports. :Local agents— .
