According -to a newspaper received by Mr. W. H. Stewart, of . Masterton, a heifer bred by Mr. Brooks, of Smithton, Tasmania, is creating great interest amongst-cattle owners in; tlio Circular Head district of that State. The heifer is a Jersey, and commenced to milk; at tho age of 11 months, and has nover been mated or had a calf.
