The following Home Service recruits are required at Trentham Cainp:—7 orderlies, 8 cooks, 3 drivers; 1 waiter, 10 sanitary workers; 10 warehousemen and clerks, 2.carpenters, 1 plumber, 6 strong storemen/ and 1 tinsmith;. Men who are fit for foreign service.are not' eligible.for these .duties'.:' '■ Any. qualified man who has , been passed as fit . for home service .only 'after,volunteering or being drawn in a ballot may volunteer for'camp'duty .in one of the branches.mentioned above. •■■.;■. Themilitary authorities require, also ten Home Service men for the-military police. : Recruits.for'.thjs branch -must • nave a fairly high physical standard.
Twenty-one volunteers are wanted for service with the Samoan Force. The men are required to be between 46 and 48 years of age, and they must enlist for the duration of tho war.
