AN IMPORTANT PROJECT
DOMINION SHIPPING PROPOSAL, A large andl representative meeting of delegates from all parts of the Dominion took place in the Wellington Central Chamber of Commerce yesterday. The business of the _ conference was the proposal to an oversea shipping company. ~A jnotion was passed favouring the establishment of. a Dominion Shipping Company to safeguard the trade of Zealand. A committee was appointed to collect information to a future conference. Sir .Tames Wilson was elected chairman,, and Mr. E. C. Jack secretary pro teni. .
