Second Division Reservists and their wives i 6 being called to be held at the Concert Chamber on Thursday evening next at 8 o'clock, for the purpose of adopting a oonstitution.and other-matters: The objects _of the league as set 'out-, by :the drafting committee are as follows:—To demonstrate the loyalty of reservists to His Majesty the King and his Government in' N:Z.' by assisting in' every possible way to carry the war to a : victorious conclusion. To endeavour to secure by constitutional methods adequate allowances, and pension for all soldiers and their dependants. To inquire into the provisions of the Defence Act and Military Service Act and regulations made thereunder, ,with a view to making such suggestions to Government as may be deemed to assist the smooth working' of the Acts and the general welfare of soldiers and their dopendants.
