During a. debate ori a. motion to.adjourn the Labour Coiuicil until after the Federal Elections, which, was car-' ried, the Rippingale coach-makers' delegate opposed the motion, stating that an undercurrent was working in the industrial world. It* had started in New Zealand, and would get here shortly. From information received they would'be asked a momentous question, if not to-night, then nfo week, or later. It would mean the bread-and-butter question for Australia. He could not say too much, but the Council should be in their places to answer the question when it arrived.—Press Association.
