Fat cattle sold well on account of the shortage in offerings, and the fat lamb market was very firm. Store sheep also were in very fair demand, but prices at the opening of the sale were somewhat easier. Fat sheep were mostly medium-quality. Ewes sold well, especially towards the end of the sale. Small cattle were dull of sale, and pigs were, in fair demand.
