Daniol Keane, against whom there were threo previous convicSons, was fined 405.. the alternative being soy en days' imprisonment. Kiitherino Mary Smith, charged under the war regulations with loitering in Tory-Street for immoral purposes, was convicted and sentenced to a month's imprisonment. Harold Wilson and Norman Ellis, were convicted of using obscene language in Courtenay Place, and were each fined 405., with the alternative of seven days in gaol.
