A French official message states: "In the Western Argonne the enemy, attacking with liquid flames, was ropulsed by our .barrage, leaving dead and prisoners between our lines. "Northwestward of Reims the German attaok, previously mentioned, was made by numerous troops specially brought for the assault to drive us out from the left bank of the Aisne Canal, and completely failed , on a front of 2500 yards. "On the right bank of the Mouse, at Hill 304, the enemy suffered heavy losses." ' . ' . .
