DEPUTATION TO THE PRIME ■ MINISTER. London, March SO.' A deputation of women representing all trades, professions, and occupations waited upon the Premier. Mr. Lloyd George explained that the Government intended to leave the'question of the women's vote an open'question for the House'of Commons. The Bill would include the Speaker's proposal, and a majority of the Government would support} the inclusion of women's suffrage. The House of Commons would decide whether the age would he thirty or thirty-five. "Once women are on the register," he said, "I have no doubt the men. will bo satisfied to give you the vote on the sante terms as them-selves."—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Asia.
