A BEAUTIFUL DAY
Yesterday.. Wellington and tho district basked in the sunlight of a perfect autumn day. The southerly had gone, and the air had a'softer touch. In the'north arid in the East Coast districts squally conditions have been experienced. _ Present indications are for 'easterly winds,' hacking to freshening Sortherlies, with a falling barometer everywhere. Increasing clouds and haziness, with milder weather, may be expected, preceding a change.
