The fourth young .bird rape took the ; form of an interval race from Taihape, 124 miles, air-line,: in which sixteen lofts were represented by one bird each. Tho.firsfc. bird was liberated at ; 8.30 a.m., and the remainder at internals of ten minutes,'sp ! that..the last bird left at 11 a.m. The winning bird, owned by Mr. J.
