BIU.TISH TRADE OUTLOOK. Interesting light is thrown upon tho British trade outlook after the war by a paragraph in the annual review of the London Chamber of Commerce. Sheffield's trado prospects, it says, continue to bo of the .brightest. As lons as the war lasts, all Sheffield's activities must be devoted to the great purpose of winning it. Thero is no anticipation of anything in the nature of a slump when the war is over, but rather a. general expectation of a very opposite etate of things. Thero mutt be a hue* world demand for steel and ail kinds of Sheffield produots when peac« is restored, and all the vast extensions of works ■ whioh have been carried out will enable tho city to meet these demands In a way in whioh it could' never have beon dono before.
