In addition to tho new classrooms there are two fine sheds (threequarters enclosed), with concrete floors, j which,"Hn fine weather, may he used for open-air classes. The building is of wood, roofed with asbestos slates, whilst' special provision has been made for the lighting and ventilation of the class-rooms. Each room has a, 3ft. deep hylo-plate running round, except where the windows cause breaks in the belt. The new school at Ohariu is now ready for occupation, but so far no date has been arranged for the official opening.
