EFFICIENCY BOARD APPOINTMENTS. The following appointments have boon made of trustees under the .National Efficiency Board's scheme for the management of tho businesses and farms of soldiers culled up for military Borvice in tne ballot:— Dunedin.—C. P. M. Buttorworth William F. Eclmond, and Walter Speight. Gore. —James Boyne, James Brownlie, and Alexander Simpson. Oamaru,— Milligan. Honry A. Dovey has been appointed voluntary expert adviser to Mr. W. D. Hunt (member of the board) in connection with tho organising of pastoral labour. Invercargill.—H. W. Eoyds. Voluntary expert advisers in connection with the organisation of labour fpr agricultural and pastoral purpose's, W. A. Cox and T. W. Foster. Mangere.— J. Ambury, J. Masscy, and J. Montgomerie. Whangarei.— J. Harrison, sen., D. W. Jack, J. Marshall. Auckland City.— J). M'Callum, J. Robertson, T. Hammond.
