A FRESH NORTHERLY
The promise of the official forecast on Wednesday was fulfilled yesterday, when the northerly freshened considerably, and raised the dust in the city streets. The air. was warm, with a tendency to mugginess, and rain fell on the West Coast and southern districts. Present indications, states the official forecast, are for high and squally nor'westors and westerly winds, particularly in and north of Cook Strait, with unsettled weather, and rain probable generally.
