At the monthly meeting of (lie Vogeltown and Mornington Electors' Association, Mr. Howett presided. On the motion of Mr. Fisher, seconded by Mr. Staples, it was resolved that the secretary should wait u.pon the authorities with reference to the installation of a telephone slot-machine. The site sugprested_ is the junction of Mills Road and Veronica Street. It was pointed out that the district had no facilities in this respect, and that .1 machine placed in the locality suggested would be a convenience. The question of the recent re-survey of Votjeltewn was brought 11; p for discussion by Mr. Agate, but the meeting dccided. to leave the matter over for the present. The annual subscription to the association was fixed at 2s. Gd.
