Mr. Ponder demonstrated the possibilities of the cash register as a means of affording protection in cash transactions and. information of vital importance to the proprietor of a business regarding both cash and credit sales and purchases, enabling liini to ascertain his position at any time. The credit slip tilo was another clever device, tlio working of which Mr. Ponder explained. The lecture was uiado a practical ono by the use of actual models. At the conclusion a heart}' voto of thanks was accorded the lecturer.
