ST. PATRICK'S DAY

An excellent programme has been prepared for the Irish national conceit at the Town, Hal! on Saturday next. Mr. Fred G. Bourke, the Auckland baritone, will sing "When Shall the Dav Break in Erin?" "Sho is Far From the Land," "Mother Machrce," and "A Nation or.ee Again." Mrs. R. Amors Power, the Dunedin operatic contralto, will sing "Kathleen Mavourneen" and "The Kerry Dance." These artists will be supported by some of the leading talent of Wellington. Misses Teresa M'Enroo._ Agnes and Rose Segrief will contribute a trio, taking for their item "The Minstrel Boy." Miss M'Enroe and Miss Agnes Sporief will also contribute a duet "The Moon Hath Raised Her Lamp."

Tho national snorts at Newtown Piivk promise io bo attractive, and if fhe weather is fine a good attendance slionld reward the committee for its efforts. Competitive national dancing, soldiers' events.'spectacular displays, and school and college championship items all find a place on the programme. The procession after the 9 o'clock Mass will be a feature of the celebrations.
