PETROL CONSUMPTION
A WARNING TO MOTORISTS.. (Rco. March 11, 5.5 p.m.), London, March 10. The Press Bureau states that with a view of saving import tonnage, and owing to the considerable increase in the consumption of petrol and substitutes, owners of motor vessels havo been warned that the monthly quantity of petrol and substitutes ÜBed must not exceed the quantity of motor spirit authorised to be purchased.—Atis.-N.Z.
