NATIONAL EFFICIENCY
PREPARING THE ORGANISATION. Cabinet agreed yesterday to the recommendations of tho National Efficiency Board with regard to tho appoints ment of certain boards of trustees and expert advisers. Theso appointments wero as follows: —. Expert Advisers. Mr. James Begg, Mosgicl, expert, adviser on agricultural and pastoral questions, Dunedin districts. Mr. E. P. Bnrbury, expert adviser in connection with primary products, Canterbury district. Boards of Trustees. To Deal with Soldiers' Farms. Dunediu District: Mossrs. JameS Begg (Mosgiel), James Farquharson (National Mortgage and Agency Co.. Ltd., Dimedin), Geo. "Watford Saro (New Zealand Loan and Mercantile. Co., Dunedin). Invercargill District. Messrs. R. A. I Anderson (J. G. "Ward and Co., Invercargill), A. E. Hawkp (National Mortgage and Agency Co., Invercargill), Donald Mac Donald (Edendale, farmer). Gore District: Messrs. P. 0. Gray (Wright, Stephenson_and Co., Gore), John Turnbull (Waikaka, farmer), R. F. Wallis (R. F. Wallis, Ltd., Gore, fellmongers, wool buyers, and frozen meat exporters). Oaraaru District: Messrs. 11. A. M'Dowell (Darling and M'Dowell, Oamaru), "W. 0. M'Kellar (Moeraki, Hampden, farinor), B. B. Walton (North Otago ■ Farmers Corporative- Association," Oamaru): "Wairarapa District: Hugh Morrison, Qninton DonaJiL Duncan M'Grcgor, Albert DonalrL Sir James Allen stated that theso gentlemen wetc all .that had been, appointed so far, but other recommendations in regard to. ajjnointmonts had still to come before Cabinet. "This process will go on," added Sir James, "until wo have covered the country with a sufficient number of expert advisers and trustees for farms. Tho question of trustees for businesses is .also under consideration."
