MUCH BOOTY CAPTURED FROM
THE TURKS
London, March 2. An official report from Mesopotamia states:—Tho pursuit of the Turks was continued on Wednesday. The Turks in great confusion passed through Azizi-i----yeh on Tuesday. Wc systematically cleared the battlefield, and are bringing in booty hourly. The captures since February 23 include 4300 prisoners, making a total of 7000 since December. "Wo have seized twenty-eight guns, nineteen trench mortars, three Turkish ships, two tugs, ten barges, and thirty pontoons.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.-Reutcr.
RETREATING TURKS PUNISHED
