WIND AND SHOWERS
Windy and showery weather prevailed in.many parts of the Dominion yesterday. In 'Wellingtoii a strong westerly wind ripped up. a lumpy sea in tho harbour, and light ram fell. The. official forecast is for high winds from the west and south-west, with rain probable generally. The barometer, which lias fallen considerably in the south, is expected to rise everywhere shortly.
