BY Order-in-C'ouncil, made and issued by His Excellency the Governor iii Council on the 16th day of August, 1916, under the authority of the above Act, it was determined that the respective duties by way of Additional Income-tax and Excess Profits Duty leviable under Sections 5 and 9 respectively of the said. Act, should be paid in one sum on Thursday, the Ist day of March, 1917, at the office of tho Commissioner of Taxes, Government Buildings, Wellington; and, in accordance with such Order-in-Cbuncil, I hereby give notice that the said duties will be payable accordingly.. NOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meetiag of the, Wellington City Council, held on the 22nd day of February, 1917, the following resolutions were passed:— (1) "The Wellington City' Council doth hereby resolve by Special Order, in exercise of the powers vested in it by the Wellington City Streets Act, 1899, and all other Acta enabling it in that behalf to declare the private street or private way known as Selwyn Terrace a public etreet of the City of Wellington." (2) "The Wellington City Council doth hereby, in exercise of the powers vested in it by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, and in exercise of every other power and authority enabling it in that behalf, resolve by Special Order to alter the names of Princes- Street and Regent Street, Wadestown, and substitute for the street comprising such streets the name of , Margaret Street."'
