THE N.Z. SCHOOLS' CHAMPIONSHIP. A 440 yds race took place at the To Aro Baths last evening to determine which toys 6hould represent the local centre in tie New Zealand Championship Swimming Carnival, to be held at the Tβ Aro Baths on Saturday next. The ewimming events at Island Bay on Saturday again drew a large crowd to the beach. The diving events proved very interesting, and the entries were large.
