HURRICANE IN NEW CALEDONIA
OABLE STATION DESTROYED. Brisbane, February 19.! News has been received from the cable office at Gonien, that New Caledonia, has been visited by a devastating hurricane. At Onaco most of tho houses wore demolished. The cablo station, at Gomen was destroyed. The instruments were fitted up in tho open air. So far there has been no loss of life.—Press Assn.
