MASTERTON SHOW
Tho annual show of the Mastorton A. and P. Association will be held on the Solway 'showgrounds on Tuesday and AVednesday. Tho exhibition of stock this year promises to bo ahead of recentyears, as tho leading breeders of tho North Island Tiavo made entries. The competition in a number of the sheep and cattle sections should be particularly keen, and as an illustration, Romneys may be cited, in which section such well-known breeders as Messrs. W. Perry, A. and J. Gray, G. E. Allen, E. Short, A. R. Fannin, Holmes, Warren, P. Mungavin, W. H. BuickyWm. Rayner, and 'Bland Rayner will meet. There will be numerous interesting competitions x to engage attention, while the lovely bush on tho grounds will provide tho public with an ideal spot for a picnic. Hot water is supplied free to picnic parties. Arrangements have beon made for special trains north and south to run to. and from- tho showgrounds. Tho fact that the trains run 'right to the showground gates will he appreciated by visitors from a distance. The annual ram and ewo fair will be held on Thursday and Friday.
