LONDON'S SPLENDID FINAL EFFORT (Rec. February Iff, 5.5 p.m.) London, February 15. A great AVar Loan demonstration was held in Trafalgar Square. The speakers included Mr. Massey, who paid a tribute to the men .of the mercantile marine, who wore unshrinkingly facing the danger of mines and submarines.—Reuter;. . (Rec. The newspapers devoted; much space-to the subject. • Vehicles .bore .exhortations and banners were hung in the ! streets with conspicuous mottoes. A notable feature was the' Lord Mayor's procession in Trafalgar Square. The •church bells were pealed.
