NAVY LEAGUE

Mr. C. W. Palmer, in response" to invitations, gavo Navy League addresses at Hawera, Patea, and Marton on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday respectively. As a result, school branches are in course of formation at Hawera High School and Himtly House School, Marton, and an adult sub-branch is Mine formed at Patea as well as school branches. The lantern slides shown included a number of new pictures of air craft and 'aerial fighting, as well as views of the Navy in peace and war. .Arrangements wore also made by Mr. Palmer for tho formation of a school branch of the league at Kapongs.
