SUPERANNUATION
Sir,—Under tlio abovo heading a teacher signing himself "Minimum" gives a S.O.S. cry for- help, which should not pass.unheeded. ' Will teachers sit Unmoved while lie and many of our brother teachors are suffering from tho.effects of that pitiful part_of tlio original Superannuation Act, which gives a minimum pay of £52 per annum? Many'teachers after forty years of sorvico in that purgatory of existonce, a schoolmaster's lifo, can only liopo to receive this pittanco, and this, in tlio .majority of cases, through a, misconception of the original Act and its amendments. (Teachers will know what I mean.) Cannot something bo done to removo tlio injustice? Now, "No. 3 Minimum," take up your pen. —I aiii, etc., . NO. 2 MINIMUM. P.S. —The minimum should bo raised to at least £84 per annum, and then ninny a poor shipwrecked teacher will tako heart again.—No. 2 Minimum.
