The costs totalled £5 18s. 7d., made up as follows:— Mine developing, £2 4s. 6d.; mining, £t 10s. lOd.; miiliiig, £1 6s. 4d.; federal, 10s. Id. The directors have sent to London the following cablegram:—"Number 16 level, north drive, progress 73ft. -West cross cut, off north drive, progress 20ft. South drive, progress. 67ft."
