I appreciate the fact that you' all still remember mo inoro than I can say,- and' it is a further incentive to me to try and do all I can for the magnificent body of New Zcalandors which I havo tho honour to command. I ivas wifcli the Com-maudcr-in-Chiof yesterday when ho inspected tho New Zealand Division, and I felt very proud indeed that I had besn instrumental in raising it. 1 Both on the Sommo and in Egypt they have done magnificont work —no troths of the Empiro better."
