CRICKET

On Friday, January 26, at the Sydney Cricket Ground, a game was played between teams captained by S. E. Gregory and M. A. Noble,, which gave the encounter quite a smack of other and happier days. The game ended in a draw, but as showing that the two veterans are still in good fettle, it was recorded that Gregory made 65 not out, and Noble 40 not out. Grimmett (formerly of "Wellington) played for Gregory, and took three wickets for 79 runs. . ■ ' ■ "
