« His Excellency the Governor has rc r ceivod the following cablegram from the Colonial Secretary:—"His Majesty the King of Rumania sends tho following reply to your New Year greetings: 'I beg to convey to tho Government of Now Zealand my 'heartfelt thanks for the expression of your warm sympathy with my country, and their good wishes for the New Year— tmsting that tho hard times wo are passing through will soon be over.
