CALL TO MILLIONS OF CITIZENS

London, January 28. Mr.. Hayes Fisher (Under-Secretary to the Local Government Board), speaking at Ealing, said the loan must be raised by the combined efforts of millions of citizens. The British money would be forthcoming if we only thought of the thousands of splendid lives already given, of the 5000 in the country to-day who have lost an ami or a leg, of tho 2200 men in Franco who havo lost their eyesight, and of the millions who aro ready to give their all in freedom's cause. — Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. BIG OHUROH INVESTMENT. London, January' 28. The Church of Ireland has subscribed £1,400,000 to the war loan. THE BANK OF FRANCE. London, January 28.
