On Friday, our offensive was resumed under cover of intense bombardment • trenches re-occupied by the Turks on Thursday were again assaulted and* taken. On the afternoon of Friday the enemy launched two violent counterattacks, both of which were completely broken up by our'-artillery and ma-chine-gun fire, with very severe losses to tho enemy.
