WAR LOAN CERTIFICATES
! STATEMENT BY THE MINISTER. j 'l'he Hon. Arthur M. Myers, ActingMinister of Finance, has submitted the following figures in connection with the salo of War Loan Certificates:—Up to January 23 the total sales of War Loan Certificates amounted to £1,214,380. This total was made up by tho sale of 97,655 £1 certificates, of the value of £78,124, and 143,032 '£10 certificates of the value of £1,136,556. "On November 16 last," Mr. Myers stated, "I had occasion to publish a return showing tho investment in War Loan Certificates per head of population. for the following five cities. The figures were as under: —
