A PLUCKY RESCUE

• ■ — AT DAY'S BAY WHARF. A plucky rescue was yesterday afternoon effected at Day's Bay by Mr. Harry Saunders, of the firm of Cathie and Sons, Ltd. The five o'clock boat v/as preparing to leave the bay, when two young swimmers were noticed to be in difficulties near the spot where a drowning accident recently took place. Mr. Saunders dived into the water with his clothes on, and saved the children in full view of the Duchess's passengers. He received aii- ovation from the latter when Tie went aboard:
