Yesterday was a sweltering .day in the . City.' Further out, where the wind had free play,'the heat was.'more endurable. The atmosphere ' was hazy, which added-a relaxing effect to the temperature. The- indications are for cloudy conditions, with drizzling rain in many parts. South-easterly winds, are to bo expected .in this region and ia the south. . . .
