The fourth fatal drowning accident within a month occurred at Napier today, when a child' pf fourteen months, named Leslie Steel, rolled down the bank into the Tutaekuri JJiver while his mother was temporarily absent. Lho body drifted 3J- miles before it was recovered. • Horace Wheatley, a. lad of 18, residing in Boulcott Street, was yesterday afternoon, admitted to the Hospital with tho fingers of his right hand cut off by a. circular saw. He received tho injury whilo woi'king at Alcock's billiaul factory. .
