DUNTROON CADETS
NEW ZEALAND BOYS SELECTED. It is announced that the following New Zealand candidates have been selected for entrance to the Royal Military College, Duntroon, Australia, for the year 1917:— : A. G. Scholes, Mungaroa, Wellington. T. D. Maxwell, Christchurch. G. M. M'Caskill, Winchester, South Canterbury. C. S. J. Duff, Cashmere Hills, Christchurch. St. J. A. Hill, St. Helier's Bay, Auckland. F. C. Ewen, Mount Eden, 'Auckland. C. A. D'A. Blackburn, Gisborno. S. N. Gillman, Dimedrn. J. A. M. Clachan, Ohiro Roac?> Wellington. A'. J. L. Whyte, Hamilton. Eleven candidates out oT eighteen passed the required examination, but there were vacancies for only ten. The new cadets will enter upon a four-years' course of instruction. They will leave for Sydney hy the Manuka on Thursday, February 8.
