Before llio Appeal Board to-aay a\ Alexandra the appeal of Ernest Derrick Alfred Freeso was dismissed, but appellant Laving a German father, and having been brought up in Germany, the Board reeominonded that lie bo discharged by tho Commandant, or restricted to home service. Thomas Flannerty was given till April 1 for thrashing and other reasons, and Thomas Francis Moran till theaanio date, the appellant stating lie intended to sell off; John Coryall,, farm manager, was also granted extension till .tlio saino date The appeal of John Reid, clerk of tho Court, Cromwell, was dismissed, the appellant not to bo called up till March I. Tho appeals of Isaac Taylor, runholder, James Brown, storemau, and Robert Augustus Phillips were allowed, tho appellants' being over age. The appeals of Lawrence Smith", farm labourer, .lames William Nevill. and Thomas AVickens wero dismissed iu the absonco of tho appellants. 'An appeal by 'WiTliam Thomas Butcher, on the ground, of deafnoss, was refused.
