There is ,practically no change in the grass seed market for good samples, but of light seed for which thero is no demand arc large. LONDON WOOL SALES. Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Limited, beg to advise having received the following cablegram from their London office, under date of Janyary 17:—"The/ wool sales, as compared with the December series, dosed firm at opening rates. Good greasy and combing merinos, par to 5 per cent, higher; all other sorts. 5 to 10 per cent, lower. Inferior wool, very irregular."
